1. After
details for the show have been decided and after reading through Part D of the
ALSA Handbook, download the Show Sanctioning Application here.
Complete the application form and send it to the ALSA office at least 90 days
prior to the date of the show.
2. An
application fee of $25 for shows of 30 or fewer animals, or $50 for shows of
more than 30 animals, must accompany the application form.
3. A $25
fleece show application fee for shows under 30 fleeces or $50 for shows over 30
fleeces must accompany the application also.
4. Include all
approved classes and divisions offered, descriptions and reqirements for
classes, and entry eligibility requirements on the Show Sanctioning Form.
5. No
publication of the show is to be done before the show is sanctioned.
6. The ALSA
Office will check your form for approval. A Show Packet will then be sent
to you with the Judges' score cards, performance class layouts, a Show
Management Guide, a Tabulations sheet, a Recap Sheet, Instruction Sheets, and
the Results Forms.
7. At this
point your show is Sanctioned and it will be included on the ALSA Website Show
Calendar and listed in Showring magazine.
8. First time
ALSA Shows may petition ALSA to have the $50 application fee waived if you are a
new show. Contact the ALSA Office to arrange this.
9. Within 15
days after your Show, you will need to send the following to the ALSA
Office: The Show results, Judge's cards, llama ALSA numbers, and names and
addresses of all the exhibitors.
10. Within 30
days after your Show, you will need to send the show fees, including the
non-member fees, to the ALSA Office.
