Grand
National:2006 Grand
National was a big success. Thanks to all participants, sponsors,
volunteers, and commitee members.
2007 Grand National will be held two week earlier at the same facility in
Lincoln, NE. Oct.
24-28, 2007.

Handbook:Working
on bids for printing of handbooks. New Handbooks will be printed in 2007. |
Judge's:
New
Clinics were been scheduled in the fall of 2006

MembershipNew brochure for
promotion is completed. 10,000 printed. Members may order from
committee for .25 each.
Membership is also the Memorial Committee and stands ready to represent ALSA in supporting the
families of members that are no longer with us. Committee requested that the board and other members let them know of the
passing of ALSA members so they can be part of the memorial to those members.

Nomination:Helping
to locate candidates for open committee chair positions and committee
members. If you're interested in working on a certain committee, please
contact the Committee Chair. |

Performance:Changes
that were made to obstacles (see minutes of 11-10-05) are being reviewed.

Promotion:2 booth
spaces at the FFA Convention in Indpls. was successful with over 55,000
youth. Distributed new ALSA brochures. Barb Baker & Mark Smith

Protest:New
protest format is being tested for approval. Will improve confidentiality.

rates & deadlines for Showring have been posted on the website.
We are looking for articles pertaining to Performance, Youth, Driving, &
Preparing Fiber for Fleece Shows. |
